Cable Park Crew: Operations & Technical Support

Permanent, Full Time, Contractual

 

 

The crew is responsible for operating and maintaining systems and manmade features of Singapore’s water-ski park. It’s an exciting and hands-on job that brings guests to the Park, and delivers an experience they will want to return for.

The crew assures safety for everyone, helping to push the limits of fun for riders of all abilities.

 

 

Positions:

  • Operator
  • Technical crew

 

You can qualify for one or all. Cross-training opportunities are available in these roles. Provision of hands-on training is provided, as this is a unique field in Singapore.

 

Responsibilities:

  • General customer service
  • Maintain Park’s Cable-System, Signs and Closures
  • Maintain Park’s features
  • Opening and Closing operations
  • Conduct pre-operation and daily tests on Park features
  • Maintain Park’s safety according to guidelines and procedures according to Park’s safety code
  • Fill out daily inspection logs

 

Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Cable-ski riding experience is a plus although not needed
  • Fulfill the following physical demands and work environment:
    • Outdoor working environment
    • Rotational shifts including weekends and public holiday
    • Physically fit, must be able to carry equipment and parts ‘
  • Knowledge or experience in technical and electrical systems are a plus
  • Lifeguard, Safety and other certifications are a bonus.

Cable Park Crew: Instructor

Permanent, Full Time, Contractual

The experience at the Park depends on the crew, staff and instructors who together create the fun environment to keep people coming back for more. The crew at the Park makes cable-ski an addictive and fun experience, while assuring a safe environment for riders of all ages to play in. Responsibilities:

  • Provide safety and introduction briefing for first-time riders
  • Establish relationships with guests
  • Assist riders in their equipment and riding gear
  • Provide clear instructions, offer tips, encouragement and advice to help riders improve their skills
  • Most of all, make guests feel welcome and provide them an exhilarating experience they will want to return for

 

Requirements:

  • A sensible mind, a warm personality, and a fun demeanor.
  • Past experiences in Customer Experience, Training and other similar roles are welcome
  • People Skills, Energy Level, Dependability, Verbal Communication
  • Cable-ski riding experience
  • Lifeguard, Safety and other certifications are a bonus, though not a must.

Shop Staff / Retail Assistant / Customer Service Crew

Permanent / Full Time

 

Responsibilities:

  • Undertake retail and customer service activities within the Pro Shop including:
    • Welcoming customers, offering assistance to purchase passes and signing Waiver forms.
    • Recommending and directing them to racks and areas to purchase apparel, equipment, change, attend briefing, deposit belongings etc.
    • Advising customers by providing information on activities, facilities and products.
    • Customer experience management: build customers’ confidence and provide an overall welcoming experience for them.
  • Manage cash and payment systems to track transactions for passes, shop items, memberships, in accordance with company procedures and policies.
  • Ensure customers are properly tagged.
  • Oversee all telephone and internet queries, and ensure effective communication is in place to provide the most relevant information to customers at all times possible.

 

Requirements:

  • A sensible mind, a warm personality, and a fun demeanor.
  • Past experiences in Customer Experience, Retail, Sales, Front Desk Operations, Concierge, Cashier and other similar roles are welcome
